Kecela is a home goods store built on a simple idea: most of what makes a home comfortable is small, unglamorous and easy to overlook. A drying rack that actually fits the sink. A lamp that puts light where you need it. A basket that hides the clutter you have stopped seeing.

What we stock

Our range covers six areas of the home - Living Room, Kitchen & Dining, Bed & Bath, Lighting, Storage & Organization, Garden & Outdoor - and we keep it deliberately tight. Every piece has to earn its place by solving a real problem or making a room work better. We would rather carry one good drying rack than eleven mediocre ones.

How we choose

We look for three things: does it do the job it claims to, is it built to last more than a season, and is it priced fairly for what it is. Anything that fails one of those does not make the range. When something turns out to disappoint in use, we drop it.

Who we are for

People setting up a first place, people slowly improving one they have lived in for years, and people who find a well-designed small object quietly satisfying. You do not need to be renovating to want a better set of storage baskets.

Where we operate

Kecela is based in Miami, Missouri, and ships to the United States, all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Every order carries free on every order, no minimum spend, and delivery takes 8-14 business days. If something is not right you have 30 days from delivery to send it back.

How we handle problems

We publish real delivery estimates rather than optimistic ones, because a promise you cannot keep is worse than a longer honest number. When a parcel goes missing we replace or refund it without argument. When you email us, a person reads it and replies within 24 hours on business days.

That is most of what we would want from a store, so it is what we try to be.
